A unique store that combines a collection of luxury brands such as Balenciaga with an urban style that focuses mainly on streetwear. DSM is multilevel. Its founder Rei Kawakubo was one of the first to use cast concrete and bare ceilings to achieve industrial and anti-luxury aesthetics. Every six months, Rei and her husband Adrian Joffe (President of COMME des GARCONS) invite a group of artists to completely redesign the interior to prepare it for the new season.

The London branch was established in 2004 and has since been joined by 4 other stores in Tokyo, New York, Singapore and Beijing.
